Home-Start
offers support, friendship and practical help to
parents with young children in local communities
throughout the UK and with British Forces in Germany
and Cyprus.
Home-Start offers a unique service. We recruit and
train volunteers who are usually parents themselves
to visit families with at least one child under
five, at home, and offer them informal, friendly and
confidential support.

Home-Start was founded in 1973 and there are now
over 330 schemes in the U.K., serving the local community.
Home-Start Surrey Heath has been offering this service in the
Borough of Surrey Heath since 1989.
